Principal & Founder

Samira is the Founding Principal of enviENERGY Studio LLC, an energy and sustainability consulting firm, serving regional and national clients looking for sustainable solutions in the built environment. Her practice focuses on sustainability and energy performance analyses for new construction and existing building retrofit projects that are pursuing LEED certification and energy-upgrades, occupant’s health and comfort in the built environment, and post-occupancy evaluation, and measurement and verification.

Samira is an advocate of sustainability and energy efficiency in the built environment and has served on the USGBC Massachusetts Chapter Board of Directors for four years. She holds a Master of Science in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University, Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering.

GABRIEL ECHEVERRIA, EIT, LEED AP BD+C, FITWEL AMBASSADOR
Senior Sustainability Consultant

Gabriel is an Energy Analyst and Sustainability Consultant who joined enviENERGY Studio in 2020. His passion for sustainable engineering and design has been years in the making and currently, his practice at enviENERGY Studio focuses on LEED, Fitwel, and energy performance analyses for new constructions, specifically life-science and multifamily residential buildings. Gabriel holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Building Systems from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Florida International University. During his spare time, Gabriel enjoys visiting museums and the movie theater, attending concerts and art shows, trying new restaurants, and exploring the New England Area.

ELIZABETH VENUTI LEED AP BD+C
Senior Sustainability Consultant

Elizabeth is an Energy Analyst and Sustainability Consultant who joined enviENERGY Studio in 2021. Prior to joining the team, she spent six years working with home performance contractors to retrofit residential buildings through the Mass Save program. She holds an MS in Sustainable Building Systems from Northeastern University. A combination of her education and experience have cultivated an interest in building science and sustainable practices. Elizabeth hopes to expand her impact on the built environment through her work at enviENERGY. In her spare time, she likes to read, practice yoga and Pilates, and go for walks along the bike path in her neighborhood. She also enjoys listening to WERS, NPR and the occasional crime podcast during her commute on the T.

ROBERT DONOHUE LEED AP BD+C
Building Performance Analyst

Robert Donohue is an Energy Analyst and Sustainability Consultant at enviENERGY Studio. He graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, as well as experience in various construction industries from utilities and municipalities to life-science GMP’s. In his free time, he loves to read about topics relating to sustainability and environmental justice. One of his favorite quotes is, “the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second-best time is now.” Combining a holistic perspective on building construction with a desire to leave the world better than he found it, Robert is an enthusiastic member of the enviENERGY team!

LOUISE HOLWAY
Sustainability Intern

After graduating from Northeastern University with a BS in Structural Engineering and Architecture, Louise spent the summer interning with enviEnergy, focusing primarily on lifetime carbon analysis and researching ways to mitigate embodied carbon and climate impact by studying steel and glulam framing. Louise is currently pursuing her master's degree in advanced Sustainable Design at the University of Edinburgh. In her future endeavors, Louise aims to take a holistic approach to regenerative building design by incorporating both passive architecture strategies with the newest in sustainable building technology. In her free time, travel, hike, ski and snowboard, never without après ski festivities!

Temi Ogunbodede
Executive Assistant

Temi Ogunbodede is a Ukrainian-born Nigerian (Yoruba tribe) American who emigrated from London to Boston at the age of 14. Temi graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor's in History and is fluent in Yoruba and English. She has worked in Governor Patrick’s administration, the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, AmeriCorps, Emerson College, the Boston Ballet, and currently works for Mass General Brigham, Ocean Prime Restaurant and enviENERGY Studio. Temi was a member of the Spark Boston Council. The SPARK Boston Council advises the Mayor on City policies and programs. Temi was also a participant in the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women's Leadership Program and Boston Future Leaders Program. Currently, Temi recently was a Board Fellow in the Net Impact Boston program, and her placement site was Civic Series where she was researching and creating an event marketing strategy to increase public participation in events. In her spare time, Temi likes to read, go to gym and travel.

Jose Moussa
Sustainability Consultant

Jose Moussa is an Energy Analyst and Sustainability Consultant at enviENERGY Studio. He holds an M.S. in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University, specializing in Building Energy and Sustainable Practices. Jose also earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from La Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela. Prior to joining enviENERGY Studio, he worked as a Research Assistant for the Building Science and Engineering Group at Drexel, conducting research on energy modeling and heat pump systems. Beyond work, Jose maintains an active lifestyle through sports like soccer and running, and he has a keen interest in exploring the culinary world. Driven by the belief that true happiness comes from activities that benefit others, Jose is passionate about implementing sustainable practices for constructing a brighter and more sustainable future.

Amelia Negrete
Sustainability Co-op

Amelia Negrete is a sustainability co-op at enviENERGY Studio. She is currently a senior at Northeastern University studying Civil Engineering with a minor in mathematics. She has prior experience in the construction industry and hopes to apply her knowledge to affect the built environment in a positive way. Amelia has always had a passion for sustainability and is excited to learn more and make an impact at enviENERGY. She enjoys advocating for sustainability and implementing sustainable practices in her own daily life. In her free time, Amelia plays various sports, reads books, and spends time exploring Boston with her friends.
